Star Of The Sea by Joseph O'Connor

Did not finish book. Stopped at 12%.
Slow pace and isn’t holding my attention. The writing is really clunky and I can’t remember what I’ve read half the time. It’s also very anti Semitic and racist in the language used-I know it’s set in the 1840s but for a book published in 2003, the author didn’t need to make racist remarks every other chapter
