5 stars is not enough for how much I loved this book! The story line is not for the faint of heart as it deals with childhood molestation and other forms of abuse, but it's also about the power of love and how that heals. Rex is a UFC fighter and musician that is tattooed and pierced to cover up his beauty. The relationship he builds with Mac starts to transform him and make him see that he's worthwhile and not as sick as he thinks he is. But once she reveals why he has such a connection to her he feels betrayed and manipulated and says he never wants anything to do with her again. The turn of events for Mac after leaving are heartbreaking and the months that pass until Rex realizes what he lost might be the end. This is a couple that I love so much I just want to hold them both and never let them go. A beautifully written book that once you start you can't put down because it grabs you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
