My favorite part of this book was Lucky. Like, I was on her side 1000% for her arc this book deserves a 4 starts easily.



Jack was actually more empathetic than I was warned to think. He was kinda a fuck but the narrative addresses it, and he's only a TRUE ass for a smaller portion of the book.

The romance tho...it was cute but

uh...declarations of love? After a year apart? They had chemistry, so I wasn't opposed to them dating but... Not my cup of tea, sorry! I can't blame the book tho, I mean, it's a romance.

I just can't say I like proclimations of love that are given so freely. So meh.
