So this was super predictable in many fantasy-reads ways. But it was also testy and turns and satisfying too??
I definitely got annoyed at the beginning, in the middle and huffy when I got to the end. But that didn’t mean I didn’t think it was worth it.
The feels are all there, the writing is great, and I was entertained. It was satisfying to read a trophy fantasy book that was well written.
I’d recommend it, but don’t expect ground breaking new fantasy territory.

Graphic: Child death and Death
