This was a really cute fake dating story.
Winnie and Mat grew up the best of friends, but 4 years ago.... They just stopped being friends.
Now that Winnie's twin sisters have left for college, their mom decided it would be good for Winnie to practice dating. Who do they pick but Mat for her to preserve dating!
I really liked learning a bit about Thai culture. One thing that was mentioned was that it's a Thai thing to have butter and sugar on toast and I loved that growing up.
Mat is a sweetheart and I could tell getting very early on how he really felt about Winnie.
One of my favorite things is that her mom sets them up on dates based on scenes from romcoms! The most hilarious being the famous scene from When Harry Met Sally in a deli. I love that Winnie had to tell her mom what actually happened in that scene because her mom doesn't really remember it!
This book comes out in August and it's such a fun, light, and easy read!
