Breathe, Annie, Breathe by Miranda Kenneally

I hate running. It’s something I never really enjoyed, but I was interested in seeing how it was portrayed in the book. Annie didn’t like it at first either, which made her more relatable to me, and she struggles to reach her goal - a marathon.

I found the story surrounding her past and her reasons for running sad, but I was also proud of her dedication to it. What she set out to do was not easy, it’s something I don’t think I’d be able to push myself to do like she did.

Her relationship with Jeremiah was cute too. I understood her hesitation, but he was a really great guy and cared about her.

Overall, I feel like the story was slow and not much happened, but I found myself rooting for Annie throughout. It was definitely a cute story and I’m glad I got to read it!
