Not only is this an interesting look into a female serial killer in Tokyo, but its also a great foodie book. It's based on a true story I haven't had a chance to deep dive about the exact differences are. I loved the experience of being a passenger in the main character's head. Not everyone is a fan of that I'm aware, but I love when you are a part of every thought and action of the character idk why 😂. I ended up baking a french pound cake based on the recipe mentioned in the book which was delicious. It's more of a silence of the lambs approach you're aware of the victims and the susppsed killer is already in jail and awaiting a re trial so its more of a if she did it why did she kind of approach.
