I give it a full 4.5 star rating. I almost went with a solid 5 stars, but changed my mind when I took the entirety of the story in consideration. The writing is in the most part without flaw. No editing errors of any kind. It flows easily and pulls you in. The main characters, Damien and Nikki are complex and well developed. Damien is NOT your typical billionaire control freak type. He doesn't hide nor deny how he feels for Nikki. He allows her to see how he feels about her. Nikki is not your stereotypical beauty queen. She isn't that indecisive twit that runs from every little problem their relationship may have. These qualities in our H/H makes this a more mature and enjoyable read then what we see in so many of these types of stories. The erotica is also well written and very steamy. Definitely mature and romantic.
My only problem, and the reason for 4.5 stars, is the areas where the author drags out things that detract from the suspense and intrigue of the story. We should have a bit more understanding of certain key characters and various elements in the story. But instead she has installed some very trivial scenes to take the place of that info. I know a lot of that information will be in the 3rd book, but they would have been better served in this part of the story.
