I've got mixed feelings about zombie stories. Sometimes I really like them and sometimes I think they're the worst. This one was somewhere in the middle. The art is almost cheerful for a zombie book, but the story is a little disjointed and definitely more bleak than I expected from the art. That said it's got some grossness and weird plant stuff going on, and I think it could appeal to some of our teen readers.
