Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain

4.0

Excellent overview of what it means to be an introvert and the ways that our American society handle and treat introversion. Sometimes it seemed a little disjointed, as if Cain was trying to make her research and examples connect together in ways they don't connect naturally. This led to a little backtracking and rereading at times as I tried to figure out how what I was reading connected to what I read about 2 paragraphs before. The book does a nice job building on itself and bringing in topics from earlier matters to represent a more unified theory. Highly recommended if you're an introvert or interested in people that are.
