blends third-person and first-person povs and switches between three characters across different (and eventually the same) timelines. plot is pretty straightforward. there were some loose threads and parts of the plot that i felt were just thrown in in hopes of it being a plot twist. this was a frustrating read for me (male character is repulsive which is what the author wanted so a good thing for jewell?? )
