After the unexpected death of his mother, Adrian finds himself tracking down the source of a spyglass she had obsessed over before she died. The search leads him all over Europe and the African coast with two siblings he never knew he had, as he strugglings with crippling anxiety, intrustive thoughts, and obsessive behaviors, hoping finding answers will help him let his mother go and find peace in his own life. Personally, was my least favorite of the series, mainly because I wanted so much more of the older characters like Percy and Sim, but it is a satisfying conclusion to the series as a whole.
Graphic: Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Death of parent
Moderate: Addiction, Misogyny, Suicidal thoughts, Medical content, Alcohol
Minor: Alcoholism, Racism, Self harm, Slavery, Suicide
Anxiety, OCD, intrusive thoughts, series finale
