Chloe Walsh does it again! She captured my heart and my attention with another book I. Her great Boys of Tommen series!
I have been looking forward to Gibsie’s perspective for a while and Chloe did a great job balancing the humor with the darkness he works so hard to conceal. Claire was a beautiful counterpart, although I do wish she wanted more for herself generally.
My only complaint is that I think the writing style in this book was a little more tell not show. I was surprised by this, because I didn’t feel like way about the first 4 books. Perhaps this was because the author was trying to cram their whole story into one book instead of spreading it out over 2. The end result is that it felt rushed and a little too obvious. But, the finale still won me over so 4.75 stars it is!
