Ice Falls
by Jennifer Bernard
What a fantastic beginning to a new series!! With tons of charm, wit, and intrigue tucked into every chapter of this story I couldn't tear my eyes off of the page.
Molly Evans heads to Alaska when she hasn't heard from her best friend for weeks. Why? Well...Molly found that certain areas in Alaska were so remote that traveling to the actual destination was the only way to find out if her friend was okay. However, never in her wildest dreams did Molly expect to find herself pulled into the middle of an ongoing investigation, even as much as she loved solving puzzles. Her dreams also never included a highly attractive man, and did I mention that he's the same man involved in the investigation.
Sam Coburn is hiding more than he appears, but as his attraction to Molly deepens his secrets seem less important. He's closed off, gruff, and alone, except for his dog, for a reason. That is until one feisty redhead boards his plane and he can't seem to help the pull that keeps drawing them together.
These two were fun and had a ton of chemistry from the get-go.
This book is packed from start to finish with an amazing adventure, plus it's fun, and it was intriguing to try and solve all the twists. On top of all of that this story also contained a ton of heart, and that is even besides Sam and Molly who have a strong connection. There is a strong girl friendship, a small town to fall in love with, and a story rich with laughter and love.
