Like the first two Wayfarer books, Record of a Spaceborn Few feels very humanistic and cozy, focused deeply on day to day emotions and struggles of people and their relationships with each other. This one left me feeling more bittersweet than the previous books, in how the themes this time are about loss, about struggling to find feelings of belonging, or the anxieties of realizing what worked for a long time isn't working anymore. There isn't much of an overall plot connecting all the different threads, but they're all written with great emotional depth, and there was something I could connect to with all the characters, all of which are unique and fully fleshed out. Probably not my favorite of the Wayfarer's so far -- it's not as fun as the last two were just by nature of what it examines -- but still a great read if you're in the mood for introspection.
