This book has been talked about by many different booktubers so when it came highly recommended by Ry at Ry's Reading Corner for the 72 hour Smut Den Readathon I knew I had to give it a go! It was meant to be because I got the sports trope on my second spin of the light wheel and I knew it was going to be my choice for the Readathon!

Romance has always been a tough genera for me to read because of my past. I've had a lot of rejections by guys so when I was younger I thought that romance books where crap because the love interests always ended up together. I have very few romantic interactions and most of them have been crushes that didn't end well. This book helped me realize that my past is not even close to being raped like Hannah or any other rape victims out there. However what happened to me was still traumatizing for me and has had an effect of my romantic relationships since it happened 13 years ago.

This book showed me the importance of communicating with the person you are interested in and no matter how embarrassing it is you should always communicate what you've been through with your romantic interest when you're ready.

Garrett and Hannah are perfect for each other and I get so much hope and happiness from reading their story. This book was absolutely what I needed because my confidence is so low when it comes to guys. I know its fiction but there is so much good advice in this book. Elle Kennedy took 2 negative experiences and showed the reader that 2 opposite personalities can support and love each other.

You never know who your person is going to be if you don't give someone a chance to get to know you.
