“I didn’t need three words to express how I feel about you, Mia.” He rears back, tilts his head to see what I’m seeing. “I just needed one.” I read the single word out loud. “Everything.”

Okay so in the beginning, I wasn't sure if I was gonna like this book because there was so much detail and the pacing was very slow. I admit I skimmed through some conversations because otherwise, it would've taken me so long to finish this book because trust me, it was LENGTHY. I freaking loved Leo. Yes, he made some mistakes but his brothers were more at fault imo. I loved the way he was down bad for Mia since the very beginning and did everything he could to support her. Mia on the other hand, was not unlikeable but she wasn't loveable either. I understand that she went through so many issues at such a fragile age and was lonely but I didn't like how she strung Leo around during all those summer vacations and kept such a big secret from him. Also, I didn't know what to feel about Leo's brothers, still I was satisfied when Logan apologized to her but he somehow made that conversation about himself. Mia was the one who suffered because of his mean comments but due to that one conversation, he took all the sympathy and things resolved very easily. I feel like his siblings should've tried harder to get an apology especially because it caused years of angst and longing between Leo & Mia. But after around part three, I truly started to love the book and the main reason for it was little Benny. He was just so damn cute and seeing him bonding with Leo was so adorable! He lit up the vibe of the book and made it seem more bright and funny. And I also loved the epilogue! Holden was a side character that I liked the most in this book besides Benny so I'm excited to check out his book! Overall, I enjoyed reading this book but it could've been shorter and I feel like some situations could've been handled better. So my rating for this book is 3.75 stars .
