Fun little murder mystery, but the characters were pretty flat and I wasn't really attached to any of them. Also had some of my pet peeves in writing like describing a character's whole outfit for no reason (I don't need to know exactly what color belt your character is wearing in this scene unless it's a clue), characters being really reckless and downright dumb in ways that would 100% get them killed, there was a romance sideplot that didn't need to be there.
Also, I get that a part of the book takes place in the 80s but there was some weird comments about black people that definitely did not need to be there especially from a white author.
