This is a complete departure from the Julie Clark books I've read, and it really speaks to her versatility as an author. The waas an emotional read with thoughtfully incorporated scientific information that related to the plot, while also being educational. Still, people who are intimidated by overly scientific stories will find this one absolutely accessible. It also has a little bit of everything: romance, grief, tension, motherhood, friendship, self-healing, etc. Readers who an enjoy a well-rounded, emotional read should definitely pick this one up!
