I enjoyed this book so much. The world building and the duo povs were well done. The dragon king is at war with the Seelie Queen who has a fairy as a familiar, which is extremely rare to have and makes the queen extremely powerful.
Rain is a century old Fae warrior turned witch who doesn’t really remember anything before she gave part of her soul to Bernard, a demon, to become her familiar.
The second pov is Night, Duke of the Lunar Province. He tried to convince Rain to a marriage of convenience, which she refused because she views marriage between two people who are in love and Night admits he doesn’t believe in love.
That ending has me craving the next book. It does end in a cliffhanger but would highly recommend it still.
