Well well well. I picked this up because after a kids summer camp book I thought it’d be fun to read a murder camp book.
I didn’t realize this was YA and I think that impacts my rating. This was VERY YA. Perfect for a teen. I was not invested in the storyline or really even the characters. MC was really a ride or die but honestly it was questionable. Lots of friendship themes and a murder built in.
Now that I think about it - the storyline reminded me of Turtles All the Way Down. The offshore accounts and embezzlement felt random but I guess there had to be a villain am-I-rite ??
