i started this book last night after a dream where i was pregnant knocked me off kilter. i'm still not back yet. a dream 11 years after my abortion getting to me like this bothers me. but i loved this book. it's an important story, a funny story, a needed story.
her sentence by sentence clinical telling of her abortion sent me back to my experience; its the only way i can recall the details but you bet i can recall every single one. i really appreciated that in the book.
also, the friendship? important!!!
