Did not finish book. Stopped at 67%.

I tried had to get into this book but it wasn’t for me. I don’t like hockey enough to connect with the conflict. Although it was kind of the point that hockey is Beartown’s whole life, the degree to which they idolized hockey was just kind of annoying to me and the book kept repeating that fact in different ways. The overly dramatic omnipotent 3rd person perspective which kept jumping quickly between 50 different people made it difficult to actually connect with any of the characters. In the end, it didn’t click for me and I never wanted to pick the book back up.
