When We Lost Our Heads by Heather O'Neill

5.0

Violent, spellbinding, unsettling. Wonderfully written. At it’s core, I suppose it’s about female friendship? But more than that, I think it’s a tale of infatuation. A fascinating book that I didn’t expect what would happen next until the end—when O’Neill had us follow the breadcrumbs to the conclusion. Definitely not a book I would casually recommend, but enjoyed the experience of reading it
