I haven’t read much horror, so maybe someday this rating will change. Overall, I enjoyed the book! It kept me engaged and I finished it in one day, pretty much in one sitting. It was suspenseful and I needed to know what would happen next. I found the red herrings worked to keep me distracted and I was surprised a few times - probably because I’m not a seasoned horror reader. 

I think it would have been better if the characters were a little more developed. It would have been more impactful for me. They were a little flat/two-dimensional
