This seems to be part of a series but I read it as a standalone for the first book of Pride Month! I was genuinely confused in the beginning when Hannah was with Michael. I kept thinking, "why was this book in the 2SLGBTQ+ section at the library," and then the big moment happened when they split.
I enjoyed watching the storyline develop between Hannah and Caroline. I especially enjoyed seeing Caroline's relationship with Abbie grow as a mother daughter relationship. This was a quick read, but an enjoyable thing to listen to for a few hours while doing some work.
