There’s a lot of beauty in the language in this book—and I loved the elements that were like a love letter to a place you used to live but have moved on from, but many times throughout the book that I found myself wondering how we’d gotten from point A to point B. Maybe I was just expecting more of a narrative. Maybe I needed to be more familiar with the author and his life first. But this is one I struggled to get through.
