3⭐️ I was. Little disappointed that this book was only average. It started out really strong and then it didn’t hold up until the end. Morina and Bastian had lots of chemistry but they held out too long to resolve their “fake” marriage and just kept pushing each other away for far too long.
I did like that Morina was a crystal loving, wave worshiping surfer. But she was definitely immature and not mob boss wife material. With all her slouching, stomping, everything is boring, short attention span, and dramatics I just wasn’t really rooting for her the whole time.
