well, that was traumatic. besides that, I’m honestly kind of at a loss for words. I finished this is two days after anticipating it for months and I don’t really know what to do with myself now. I tabbed my copy and ran out of blue “sad moments” tabs. it was great, not in the ways the other two adult THR books were, but great nonetheless. Marchion Ro remains a compelling villain, although the Nihil as a whole are slightly confusing for me at the moment. this book still had heart, with Elzar and Stellan’s friendship, as well as Bell and Burryaga’s, being highlights and the crew of the Vessel being a true joy to have back. Geode is awesome. however, it was mostly one tragedy after another. I enjoyed reading this and it kept me very interested, if purely because I needed to see the events my dread was warning me about play out lol. I’d recommend it!!
