Hit Me With Your Best Shot by Lara S. Ormiston

lighthearted relaxing fast-paced

2.75

Truth be told, I despise song lyrics embedded into stories, especially when I can recognize them. Call it a pet peeve, call it me being a picky bitch, but I truly don’t like song fics.

But I did like this. It was short, it was sweet, and it featured a Lizzy wielding multiple guns like she was born to it.

It didn’t phase me in the least that she wielded them with grace, poise and expertise, and in fact I expected it of her.

Such was the predictability of this one shot.

But it was still enjoyable for a quick read; lighthearted, warm with the best intentions, and infused with a sufficient amount of charm.
