O my lord, this man, this woman! Yasmin, a jewellery heiress is forced into a fake marriage by the right hand man of her dying father. It was his last wish to see her married and she wants to fulfil that. Julian, said right hand man, has a whole plan of his own to take over the diamond empire that he has helped build.
Obviously, you know what to expect xD Enemies to lovers and also, obviously, it being an Emily McIntire book the spice was a-maze-ing. A slow burn so we had to wait for it a little but it was absolutely worth it :)
During the story I did feel like some plotpoints felt a little forgotten here and there (like her dad dying didn't get the attention I assumed it would have for Yasmin, kind of) but also girl had a lot going on xD Julian was a fair bit misogynistic for my taste in the beginning also. So losing some points for me there also.
Loved it, honestly wanted to finish it asap and luckily @niemxx also had time tonight so I could speed up our buddy read a little... xD
Did he top Tristan tho? Not for me... Tristan is still my #1 Never After man :))))
