This volume picks up right where the previous one left off. Jinwoo attempts a reevaluation of his rank and the machine breaks from how powerful he is. He now has to wait three days before he can be tested again, but the higher ups expect him to be an s-rank from what they have seen. Instead of relaxing those two days while he waits, he joins a mining excavating team but it doesn’t go how he expects.

This was another action packed volume. I am enjoying Jinwoo’s story and the monsters he has been fighting. The High Orc Mage in this was an interesting enemy and made for a great fight. I also kinda like that Jinwoo turns all the s-rank leaders down to join their guilds and does his own thing. I am curious to see what happens next for him, especially since he has gone back into the tower dungeon.
