That was quite a wild ride. It kind of reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. Being tossed into a magical, fantastical and wimsical word where not a lot is real or makes sense.
I do feel that sometimes the plot got a little messy for me while reading it. I do love the main character though. She went on such a journey for her own character growth.
I didn't really connect that well with her love interest Julian though.Which makes sense since he lied a lot and is a preformer in the game. His whole existance is a lie and I totally understand Scarlett's stance at the end.
Also the main character sees colours for how she feels and that little side fact felt very unneeded? It isn't really used much in my opinion and whenever its brought up it was a little random. Like just a weird thing to make the main character extra special that isn't really explained? Since magic isn't real outside the game I don't see how it makes sense.
