yaaram has great imagery, sometimes even greater than the plot.
pg. 198:Amraha was dumb enough to not realise Aliyan liked her, even dumber to say all that stuff about his family and past. tbvh she also needs the grooming classes recommended to Shiza. I am so done with the main lead having a singular brain cell, I thought there was some character development but 10 secs later we were back at point 0. can we stop just justifying the girl being rude just because she is بھولی? you can be polite and gentle without being ultra smart. also Carl is annoying (definitely taking this back, these were my thoughts at the beginning of the novel, but he is the life of the story!!). I like Veera's character but now..... let's see how the story progresses. (oh the story progressed! all my love for Veera ❤) pg. 300: the wedding prank was fun. a lot more story but still not much progress on the overall plot. I may cut this part out (I didn't), but i just hate how Aliyan is such a detailed and multilayered character while Amraha's character is just flat and one dimensional she keeps making similar mistakes again and again. still rooting for some character develop along the second half of the book (there was character development, but too late and I unfortunately found her character annoying throughout the major part of the novel).
too frustrated to even note the pg number:why is she so dumb and borderline toxic???? Veera's the only reason she's survived in Manchester until now and she's hating her just because she's been nice to a guy she rejected. (ok so she wasn't JUST being nice, but still, nobody talks shit about Veera!!)
even more frustrated:oh hun! why would you tell his dad? how do you manage to betray every person who is sincere to you?
pg. 400: Amraha is sane now, thank God! she finally realised how sweet and cooperative everyone was with her.
the writing is amazing. the plot is mediocre. too many words, too little story. good and satisfying ending.
