Book 6 is Darcy Burke's turn and this story is delightful. The daughter of a marqess is so desperate to avoid the old earl that her parents want her to marry that she fakes her own kidnapping hoping that she will be ruined and the wedding will be called off.
While the kidnapping didn't go exactly as planned she was rescued by a handsome Rector, Hugh Tarleton. Whie he rescued her for her safety, he managed to fall in love and wanted her for his own wife.
Can the daughter of a marquess ever be happy married to a simple Rector whose church ministers to the poor in St Giles and Seven Dials? Will she be able to escape her parents plans?
