The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
5.0
This book was recommended by my local library in May as one of their "books to watch out for". I am so glad I put my name on the waitlist and got this book relatively soon after release.
This book started off a little slow and sad. But once the 'inciting action' happens, I was hooked. The three main characters are complex and have interesting, complicated relationships. The plot is one that I will be thinking about for the next few weeks.
This book was cozy and joyful but also had great *gasp* moment and some moments where I got a little teary.
Overall, I highly recommend this book. It kind of has some 'Jessica Jones' vibes. If you like time-travel romance and/or humans making deals with gods, you'll enjoy this.
