A modern Day fairytale with a twist. Going in I knew this book was going to be special. As soon as Hutton met Ally in the bar I knew that theirs was a connection made in the stars. The author did an exceptional job creating a new and improved version of how royalty works and one that I am all about supporting. She manages to weave a story with banter, and sincerity, and a whole lot of Southern Charm. I loved Hutton's brother Everest but Hutton has him beat in this book.
I loved everything about Hutton and his connection with his Princess. Even though the connection was there from the very start this was not an instant-love romance. Time was put into this relationship and I appreciated that. Aly was a princess with a gypsy soul. I am not sure if anything could truly have tamed her zest for life other than Hutton and it is that reason that further recertified why they were true soulmates.
This story shows that Happily ever after comes in a plethora of ways and that love ultimately triumphs...especially if it comes in the form of a strong stubborn Texan man not willing to lose his princess.
