This was beautiful. The way Kerry learned that the man she had been calling Dad all of her life might not biologically be her dad yet she handled it with grace and love...whew! I would have been in SHAMBLES! I'm looking at her parents side ways because they probably never would've said anything until Kerry was about to be on the genealogy show. I'm glad the truth brought them closer together.
Of course I loved hearing Kerry talk about her time on Scandal. Great memories of live tweeting Scandal and living for what Olivia Pope was wearing and the storylines. The Scandal cast being close in real life makes my heart melt. Bring it back!!!
I've always loved how Kerry and her husband are able to keep their private lives private for the most part. The way I didn't know she had two kids and also a bonus daughter. I hope they are able to continue to shield the babies because the paps are absolutely ridiculous.
Her memoir touching on her abortion and her moms still birth had me in tears. This was so beautifully written and I'm glad I listened to the audio. Kerry Washington fan forever.
