So ruthless and terrible Leigh Bardugo is, few can tell a story quite like her. There are only a handful of books that I've read that had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning and this is one of them. Building off the crazy tension from the first book, this one was even better. The impossible happened in such a mind-numbingly impossible way and I'm left at the end of it all picking up the pieces of my shattered heart. In the most satisfying way.
This will be a longest book hangover yet.
