Single mother Latrice has one wild night out where her sister wants her to have a one night stand. What she didn’t expect was to feel a connection to that person. Neither did she expect to run into him again. Newly hired teacher Nathan Landon is introduced to the parents at his new school and shocked to see the person he hasn’t been able to get off his mind. Not only is Nathan a new teacher at Latrice’s son’s school but he is Quincy’s teacher. The two can’t deny their attraction but choose to date secretly.
This was a quick read that was insta love. I liked the relationship between Latrice and her siblings. They all were hilarious. I didn’t like the situation with her ex husband and his new wife. I felt like Latrice was too involved in it although I understood her son was in the middle of it. I did find that at times I wanted to skip around but I stayed the course. Overall this was 4/5 star read.
