Born with Teeth by Kate Mulgrew

emotional funny informative lighthearted sad

4.0

I have always been a fan of Kate Mulgrew's acting, I loved her in Orange is the New Black as Red and Captain Janeway in Star Trek Voyager, so I decided to pick up her biography at the library. What an exciting read! Mulgrew has experienced tragic and beautiful life events. She comes from a rather large and eccentric family with strong bonds. She started her career path at a young age, supported by her artistic mother, and she's multitalented, as noted in her acting abilities and her writing abilities. She began in the theatre, which is her passion and has had an equal presence on the screen. Mulgrew also discusses her love and her regrets and how the two intermingle. I chose to listen to the audio format narrated by Mulgrew, making the experience more memorable and impactful. I would recommend it to those that have enjoyed Mulgrew's performances, whether on stage or the screen.
