excuse me while I write this through tears at that ending. It was SOO sweet. I love how Jasmine can take a romance book and make it relevant to current events. Olivia is a strong, driven, independent black woman that goes after what she wants & Senator Max is the perfect bad boy. Olivia manages being in the spotlight while also staying true to herself. I loved their conversations about prison and Max always knew what kind of desserts to give her. that’s all you really need in a man. Highly suggest you read this entire series.
