The Looking Glass War by John le Carré
3.0

Le Carre's contempt for the British Intelligence Service is obvious in this novel, more so than any other. What a bunch of self-important, proud, idiotic buffoons, traipsing about trying the relive the 'good ol' days' of the war. Relics from the past, no wanting to accept the world has moved on without them.

While the majority of characters are unlikeable, I still enjoyed reading this, and couldn't wait to see their plan go all to hell, as it obviously had to.
