What an amazing conclusion to this series. I had predicted an ending for this but it completely surprised me which was so nice to see considering I had predicted so many of the other big surprises throughout the series.
I loved so many of these characters and I'm heartbroken by the ones that didn't make it to the happy ending that they deserved. I think the one in the saddest about is Helene. She struggled through the whole series to voice her own feelings and find someone to love romantically.I did like that she found her love for her country and her people, but she deserved to end up with Harper and he deserved to lived. It hurt so much.
Overall a very heartbreaking but beautiful ending to the series. I think I'll be thinking about these characters for a while.
