Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers

I started reading this book thinking that the Vegas-wedding premise was too goofy to work, that it would be clunky or awkward.....I was so delighted to be wrong. The love story was beautiful and imperfect and amazingly crafted, and the human stories were even better.

The characters are so good and so real, and I was so moved by all of them. I cried twice; the emotional resonance is that strong. Personal connection is such a strong form of art - I resonated and learned in equal proportions.

To this author, who maybe felt alone in a radio booth sometimes while writing this wonderful tale of human imperfection and spirit and connection - we hear you. I hear you, and it is beautiful.
