At this point, I’ve accepted that every time I dive into one of Geissinger’s mafia books, I’m going to meet about a dozen new people I swear weren’t in the last one. Besides Spider, I didn’t know half of these names—and honestly? I didn’t care. Because Spider and Rey completely stole the show.

Their minds? Filthy. Wicked. Graphic. And so deliciously matched.

The whole marriage of convenience thing? Yeah, no. That turned into raw, unfiltered chemistry within the blink of an eye. These two made me sweat, swoon, and screech. In that order.

And the ending? Baby, I was sobbing happy tears. Like a proud mother. Or maybe a very emotionally compromised bystander with a thing for morally grey men and unhinged women.

Bless them both. 10/10 would get married for convenience again.
