The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah

This sob story lacks all nuance. It is certainly not the best representation on domestic abuse, or love, or sorrow. The good parts were the lovely descriptions of Alaska. I didn't tire of that all the way through.

I know I have read a better description of abuse; I cannot remember where.

I feel overall, too many writer's liberties were taken on this one.
