Holy shit I finished a romcom. I mean, I skimmed most of the work stuff because it was boring and the people were terrible and homophobic and it wasn’t cute or funny like intended. (The “wrong kind of gay” thing is so much worse than it is played in the book, and I don’t for a second buy that Luc couldn’t get a job somewhere else) Also, the final conflict was completely unnecessary and out of character.

But I… liked the romance? Which is really all I want from a book like this.

Let’s not talk about how much I related to the self loathing, afraid of feelings MC.
