I don't typically like books that revolve around a sex club. They are so cringe and off-putting to me, but I liked the premise of this book and am able to suspend disbelief enough to enjoy these types of books from time to time.
With that being said, this book fell apart the last 20 percent. It turned into a love triangle, with the FMC unsure of who to choose after the MMC and her ex both offered her everything she wants out of life. This isn't Dawson's Creek. This is a romance novel. I'm not a fan of love triangles in romance novels where the person doing the deciding isn't sure who to choose at the END of the book. Beginning? Sure, I can understand that. But the end? Absolutely not. I can get onboard with the FMC not knowing whether to trust the MMC not to hurt her again, but I can't get onboard with her not knowing which guy to choose that far into the story. And it was her husband who told her to quit waffling and go to the MMC! She didn't even make the choice on her own! This ending ruined the book for me. I would have preferred the FMC tell her ex it was over, the MMC go to her and grovel, the FMC tells him she has to think because he hurt her and then the MMC makes a grand gesture. But, whatever.
