A Fiancée's Guide to First Wives and Murder by Dianne Freeman

4.0

In this fourth installment, Lady Frances has sent her mother and daughter off to Paris to freshen up everyone's wardrobe. She is amazed when a young woman, Irina, arrives at her home in London, claiming to be her fiance George's first wife. While George had worked with her in France, he insists that he does not have the relationship that she claims. Nevertheless, Frances invites Irina to be her house guest while they figure out the story in an effort to stem the tide of gossip. The plot thickens when Irina is found strangled in the garden between Frances's house and George's house. I enjoyed this one very much, I liked the plot around the Russian royal family, the look into theater life, and especially the character of Frances' Aunt whose name I can't remember. This was enjoyable and I can't wait for the next.
